EnPro Industries Inc. ( NPO ) reported a profit for third quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year. The company said its earnings fell to $9.3 million, or $0.43 per share. This was down from $10.0 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year's third quarter. The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.5% to $292.7 million.
