Insulate CERAMICSPEED radial bearings

CERAMICSPEED radial <a href="https://www.its-bearing.com/products/catalogue.html" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 112, 192); text-decoration: underline;">bearings</a> last up to 8 times longer than traditional radial bearings. Custom-made for electrical motors CERAMICSPEED InsulateTM Radial Bearings protect against damage to the race, balls, and retainers resulting from high voltage arcing, especially, when Variable Frequency Drives are controlling the motors as speeds constantly changing, exacerbates arcing. Insulate’s (SiN3) Silicon Nitride ceramic balls are 400% smoother, 128% harder, and feature an insulation rating of 15 kV per mm compared to 1 kV per mm of steel balls. Because ceramic balls are harder and smoother, they have a lower coefficient of friction and run at 10 to 20° C lower temperatures extending the life of the lubrication. This allows for up to 50% higher speeds and consumes less energy. These features contribute to an ROI (return on Investment) that is typically realized in the first lifecycle of a traditional bearing. FDA and USDA-compliant CERAMICSPEED radial bearings have been approved for food and beverage, and pharmaceutical applications. These bearings also tolerate extreme operating conditions such as Abrasive slurries and powders, caustic and high-pressure wash downs, corrosive atmospheres, shock, and vibration, and there is no spalling under extremely high loads. CERAMICSPEED InsulateTM Radial Bearings are available in several different sealed and open configurations in sizes for small motors operating at speeds to 70,000 rpm, and for offshore wind turbines operating at 20 rpm.
